Easy Laundry Player of the Month: September’s nominees

september-2016-potmThe vote for the Easy Laundry Player of the Month for September is now live, and sees four players all needing your votes to be crowned the winner.
A fine month from Carl Abbott’s side, particularly going forward, saw AFC go through the month unbeaten in all competitions, scoring eighteen goals in four matches.
But who was the one player who stood out for you? If you aren’t sure on who to vote for, have a read of our summary below…
The first nominee is Lee Butler, who could become the first player to win the award for two months in a row. Whether playing on the right side or in the middle, Butler has been influential in breaking up play and on the attack, and scored his first goal for the club with a free kick at Greenwood Meadows last week.
Midfield partner Darious Darkin is also up for the award, having also featured in all four matches this month. The former Aston Villa youngster showed magnificent skill in setting up two second half goals at Greenwood Meadows last week, and is the other half of the ever-blossoming midfield duo.
Last week’s five-star performance was a fine end to the month for Ryan Seal, who is the third player to feature on the list. Seal scored nine goals in just three games in September, braces against Pershore Town and Uttoxeter Town supporting his quintet last week, and has been in the right place at the right time all month.
The final nominee is Sean Williams. Willo opted to remain with Hinckley despite approaches from other clubs this month, meaning fans can look forward to seeing more if his tireless running, both on and off the ball. He scored against Pershore Town, and opened up the game with a fine solo effort against Holbrook Sports just as Hinckley were starting to get frustrated.
