Hinckley AFC have been drawn at home to Wolves Sporting in the first round of the Buildbase FA Vase.
The match will take place at St John’s Park on Saturday 22nd October, kicking off at 3pm, which means our home league match with Heather St John’s will now be re-arranged.
The sides met in the first qualifying round of the competition last season when AFC ran out 5-0 victors, but Sporting gained their revenge in December with a 2-1 win in the JW Hunt Cup.
Sporting have won all ten of their West Midlands Regional League matches this season, comfortably sitting top of the league.
Indeed, they haven’t failed to win a game since their 2-1 defeat to Tividale in the Emirates FA Cup at the start of August.
Sporting beat Bewdley Town 7-1 on Saturday to reach this stage of the competition, while Hinckley were 6-3 victors over Greenwood Meadows.
