Hinckley AFC get their pre-season campaign underway this afternoon with a game against landlords Heather St John’s at St John’s Park.
The match, which will be played in three periods of thirty minutes each, will see Manager Carl Abbott run the rule over a number of new faces.
Without the injured Mitchell Tomlinson and Kristian Ramsey-Dickson, and a number of other first team players unavailable in the early pre-season, Abbo will combine the remainder of the first team squad with a number of trialists hoping to earn themselves a place in Abbo’s squad for 2016-17.
The squad to face Heather is: Tom Cross, Wayne Connolly, Mike Harvey, Josh Warren, Ryan Paddock, Rico Taylor, Mark Williams, Jean Kalenda, Ryan Seal, Kieran Miller, David Blenkinsopp, Kevin Charley, Jody Green, Connor Pugh, Steve Hart.
This is the first of seven pre-season games for Hinckley, building up to the first competitive game of the season at home to Heanor Town in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup.
