Hinckley AFC will play their 50th game of the season when they travel to bottom of the table Southam United tomorrow afternoon, kick off 3pm.
After facing league leaders Bromsgrove Sporting last time out, Hinckley will reach their half century of games when they take on the side at the other end of the table in basement outfit Southam.
Carl Abbott’s side had won their previous three matches before Bromsgrove took all three points from St John’s Park on Tuesday, and they will be looking to return to winning ways against a Southam side rooted to the bottom of the league.
The Warwickshire outfit are eight points adrift at the bottom, and of their final six games, five are against teams in the top half.
Until ten days ago, The Saints had lost their previous ten league games, but ended that run of form with a fine win over Atherstone Town that saw them keep their first clean sheet since August.
Tom Cross and Lee Thomas were both involved for Southam that day, but they will now line up against their former club as part of a Hinckley side that holds hope of securing a top four spot.
AFC are currently two points off fourth place, sitting sixth in the table with six games to play.
Carl Abbott’s side will be looking to emulate the performance from January’s reverse fixture, which saw Greg Pearson’s brace help them run out comfortable 4-0 winners at St John’s Park.
Southam play at Banbury Road, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 2BJ. The ground is approximately twelve and a half miles from Coventry on the A423.
