Abbo’s Squad Update

Hinckley AFC Manager Carl Abbott has provided an update on his squad for supporters.

With Sean Williams, Kristian Ramsey-Dickson and Alex Penny all recovering from their injuries picked up before Christmas, Abbo now has a fully fit squad raring to go.

The newest addition to the squad is former Oadby Town midfielder Mason Hirst, who came on as a substitute against Nuneaton Griff on Boxing Day, while Oli Basham, Elikem Amenku and Jason Wood have left the club.

Oli and Elikem both made 13 appearances for the club during their time at St John’s Park, while Jason played four times.

Abbo said: ‘With a fully fit and available squad, I’ve released Elikem to work on his fitness and Jason to allow him to find regular football elsewhere.

‘Oli goes to university next summer so he’ll get more regular football until then by playing for Alvis’ youth set up.’
