Twelve Moments of Christmas: Number Eleven

We continue our countdown in our ‘Twelve Moments of Christmas’ with Marco Adaggio’s spectacular overhead kick against Heather St John’s making it in at number eleven.

On a miserable August Bank Holiday, Hinckley were already 3-1 up late on when Adaggio scored what must be the best goal by a Hinckley AFC player.

After his first shot was blocked, but as the ball bounced Adaggio launched into an acrobatic overhead kick which found the top corner and gave the ‘keeper no chance.

It amazed players, including Heather ‘keeper Ben Allsop (below) and fans alike, and as a result makes it onto our list of favourite AFC memories from 2015.
