AFC’s Twelve Moments of Christmas

This Christmas, we’ll be celebrating 2015 from a Hinckley AFC perspective as we count down the days with our own ‘Twelve Moments of Christmas.’

Each day we’ll be taking a look at a moment from the past twelve months that has stuck in the memory, counting down to our favourite which will be released on Christmas Day.

To start off our countdown, at number twelve we’ve chosen not just one moment, but four – all relating to player versatility.

With Luke Richards and JJ Melligan both having spells in goal, and Sam Arnold and Tom Cross both playing outfield, it’s safe to say some players have had to play out of their comfort zone.

Away at Racing Club Warwick in September, Richards made a couple of vital saves to preserve his side’s lead, while Arnold’s goal against Leicester Road will also live long in the memory.
