Match Preview: Pelsall Villa (a)
Hinckley AFC travel to bottom of the table Pelsall Villa in their first competitive match for two weeks tomorrow afternoon, kick off 3pm.
Hinckley’s last outing was the trip to Pershore that saw Dom Smith’s late header give AFC a thirteenth win in fifteen.
Following last week’s postponement, Carl Abbott’s side sit fourth in the Midland League First Division table, level on points with third place Bolehall Swifts but having played two games more.
Pelsall’s solitary win this season came at Alvis Sporting back in November, but they have only scored in two games since then; a 4-2 defeat against Pershore and a 3-3 draw at home to Lichfield.
The hosts will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the reverse fixture at St John’s Park back in August, when four goals from Mark Bellingham and a treble from Luke Richards helped Hinckley to a 13-0 win.
Pelsall play at The Old Bush Ground, Walsall Road, Walsall, WS3 4BP.
