Young central midfielder Ryan Mills was thrust into first team action when he made his debut from the bench with ten-man AFC 4-1 down at title chasing Racing Club Warwick in January 2019.

But he adjusted well to life in the Midland League, and became a regular starter in the team during the later stages of that season after impressing in the middle of the park.

An attack-minded midfield player, he scored two goals for the club including a fine effort from the edge of the box at Cadbury Athletic – his first for the club.

He followed that up with the winning goal at Heath Hayes just a couple of weeks later as his powerful runs from midfield quickly became a regular sight.
