An tall and experienced central defender, Richard Munday had an injury troubled start to his career and played for a number of midland clubs before settling down in a non-league backline.

That was during his time at Romulus, and his performances were impressive such that they earned him a move to the Conference North with Redditch United.

He then linked up with Dean Thomas at Hinckley United in the summer of 2010, but made only three appearances before another injury curtailed his progress.

After a spell out of football, Richard made a return for Redditch in 2013, and played for Worcester City and Romulus again before linking up with Hinckley.
