A cultured midfielder, Ryan Tait teamed back up with the management team after they signed him briefly for Atherstone Town in their title-winning season in 2022.

A product of the Tamworth academy, where he played alongside Chandler Pegg and ex-AFC men Sam Walton and Jordan Clement, he made a couple of first-team appearances at The Lamb but his first move into men’s football was with Paget Rangers, and then Atherstone.

A move to Carlton at step four followed, where he gained experience as a teenager, before moving to Eastwood in January 2023.

He helped our new league rivals to consecutive top-half finishes in the United Counties Premier North and remained there until the middle of last season, making 75 appearances for the Red Badgers.
