A combative young midfielder, Jack Edwards broke into the first team at Coventry Copsewood towards the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
The tenacious ball-winner then followed manager Joe Conneely to Hinckley, and after getting to grips with step six in the shortened 2020/21 campaign, the following season was where he really made his mark.
Chipping in with 12 goals in 42 games was just a part of his contribution to the side that reached the play-off final of the United Counties Division One.
And such was his impression, the tireless runner won both the Supporters’ Young Player of the Year and the Manager’s Player of the Year for his displays in midfield.
He tried his hand at a higher level with a move to Atherstone Town, but quickly returned back to AFC after a handful of substitute appearances.
Now the club’s second-highest appearance maker, he has played vital roles in both the Midland League Cup winning-side and the team that became Division One champions.
