Highly-rated forward Dan Edmonds joined Hinckley AFC in the summer of 2026 looking for another crack at step five, after a previous move to Atherstone Town was cut short by injury.

A former Nuneaton Borough youth-teamer, Edmonds played against Hinckley for Nuneaton Griff during our Midland League Division One title-winning season.

He formed part of a dynamic front line alongside Jared Bradshaw, and scored 11 goals for them that season, but it was the following campaign where he really made his name, hitting 24 goals in his first full season.

That earned him a move to Atherstone in 2025, and he scored twice in the early part of last season but his campaign was cut short by injury. He got his eye back in with Coventry Copsewood towards the end of the 2025/26 season, but is now ready to attack step five again.
