An imposing midfielder, Alex Lock initially joined Hinckley AFC on loan from Nuneaton Borough shortly before the start of the 2019/20 season.

A former member of the youth setup at Coventry City, he has also spent time at Coventry Copsewood and was a member of Bedworth United’s successful Under 21s side before joining Nuneaton in the summer.

Capable of playing across the midfield or in a forward role, he has promotion-winning experience from the United Counties Premier South after helping Rugby Town finish second three years ago, and also has higher-level experience with both Rugby and Coventry Sphinx.

He then joined Boldmere St Michaels in the summer of 2025, and after a brief spell there he joined Nuneaton Town, for whom he played against Hinckley three months before switching to AFC.
