Hinckley AFC have received three nominations for two additional vacancies on the Board of Directors.
As a result, the business conducted at the upcoming Special General Meeting on Wednesday 27th April will be the election of two additional directors only.
Nominations have been received for Bryan White, David Gunn and Ian Beach. Manifestos will be posted to the website in the next 24 hours ahead of voting.
The election process will be as follows…
- Ballot papers will be available from Gadsby’s from Thursday 14th April, or from Membership Secretary, Gerry Abbott at matches.
- At the SGM, each of the three nominees will be given the opportunity to address the audience for five minutes each if they so desire, after which there will be a short Q&A session of no more than fifteen minutes.
- Following the Q&A session, members will have 30 minutes to cast their votes before the vote closes.
- The votes will then be counted and the results of the election announced.
Alternatively, members who are unable to attend the SGM are able to vote by post. Members who wish to do this must apply for a ballot form from the Club Secretary, Steve Jelfs, and have it returned by 27th April to Green Acres, Aston Lane, Aston Flamville, Hinckley, LE10 3AA.
Anyone who wishes to vote must be a fully paid up member of Hinckley AFC as of today, Wednesday 13th April 2016. The decision of the Club Secretary in any dispute, or deciding eligibility to vote, will be final.
