The constitution of Hinckley AFC makes it clear that the club will provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, with physical safety prerequisite.
The Board have therefore decided to make a specific policy adaptation with respect to bicycles, e-scooters and similar items on match days. These items could present a danger to those attending Hinckley AFC matches, especially the very young, the elderly and those with restricted mobility.
With immediate effect, attendance with bicycles, e-scooters and similar items will be permitted, but while in the ground they must be pushed and walked with; it will be strictly forbidden to ride such items within the ground.
There are several places to leave these items within the Kirkby Road ground while the match is underway, but Hinckley AFC takes no responsibility for the safekeeping of such items.
Failure to comply with this policy will be viewed as a breach of ground rules and will result in offenders being asked to leave immediately. In the event that the offender is under 16 years old, to ensure that they are not placed in a position of potential danger outside the ground before the scheduled time of the end of the match, they will be identified and informed that they will be refused entry to all future matches with their e-scooter, bicycle etc.
This policy has been added to official documentation of Hinckley AFC and will be added to published ground rules accordingly.
