#YouAreEnough campaign launch

Hinckley AFC will be hosting our first Mind collection at Saturday’s home match against Sherwood Colliery as we launch the #YouAreEnough campaign.

Earlier this summer, the club agreed a new partnership with our local Mind – Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland – alongside the Football Supporters’ Association with the aim of providing better access to crucial mental health support for those across football.

This weekend will see a collection at Saturday’s home clash against Sherwood Colliery, so please keep an eye out and donate generously if you can!

The campaign launched at Dunstable Town back in 2017 and their ex-Chairman and the FSA’s #YouAreEnough Lead Andrew Madaras, said: “The Football Supporters’ Association is delighted to welcome Hinckley AFC to the #YouAreEnough mental health awareness, and support campaign.

“The partnership will promote good mental health, support people with lived experiences, challenge the stigma associated with poor mental health and ensure Kirkby Road is a fully inclusive and welcoming place for all members of the community.

“The FSA would like to thank club volunteer Zoe Measom and Rachel Nott, the Operations Director at LLR Mind, for all their hard work in bringing the programme to the supporters and friends of Hinckley AFC.”

Andrew and Zoe, our own #YouAreEnough Lead and mental health liaison, will be present at the game on Saturday’s launch with Board co-ordinator Liam Finn also available to answer any queries.
