Presentation Night 2026 round-up

Zach Tellyn, Jacob Shilton and Divin Emmanuel were all recognised with player awards at Hinckley AFC’s annual end-of-season presentation night.

The trio, who all had fleeting spells with the club last season, all stamped their mark on the side this campaign after returning to Hinckley AFC and shared the four awards between them.

Ending the season as our leading scorer with 15 goals, Tellyn was the night’s biggest winner, collecting the Simon Blyth Supporters’ Player of the Season and the Managers’ Player of the Season, chosen by Ross Innes, Adam Davies and Chris Tullin.

He also shared the Players’ Player of the Season with goalkeeper Emmanuel after a tied vote between the pair from their peers. Emmanuel returned in November to cover Keelan Fallows’ injury and kept his place as number one ever since with a string of fine saves.

Meanwhile, the Ray Baggott Supporters’ Young Player of the Season went to Shilton, who played every minute of every game after joining the club at the end of August. He became a leading member of the backline and also chipped in with his fair share of crucial goals at the other end.

Off the pitch, the Club Volunteer of the Year award went to Celia Bailey for her hard work providing hospitality for match officials and opponents. Celia’s efforts have seen the club win divisional Hospitality Awards twice in recent years, and do not go unnoticed by opposition clubs.

Congratulations to all of our fully deserving winners!
