We’ve reached the end of the 2025/26 season for Hinckley AFC – and this is the story of the campaign in numbers.
46 – games played, 38 in the league and eight in cup competitions.
94 – the number of goals scored, coincidentally the exact same tally as last season.
149 – our 38 league games contained 149 goals, an average of just under 4 per game. At home, there were 91 goals in 19 games meaning adult members with a season ticket paid only £1.21 per goal!
28 – In total, 28 different players found the back of the net this season. Jared Bradshaw grabbed the opening goal in our second game of the season back in July away to Coventry United, while Afonso Mvula was the last new goalscorer when he netted against Daventry Town in April.
15 – Zach Tellyn finished as our leading scorer with a brace on the final day of the season taking him to 15 in total. Brady Middleton joined him in double figures with 11.
37 – Jacob Shilton was our leading appearance maker this season – playing every minute of all 37 games after signing from Atherstone Town at the beginning of September.
257 – our average league attendance – the fifth-highest in the division and 18% up on last season. 12 of our home league games were watched by more than 200 people.
2 – twice we broke our club-record attendance for a regular league game this season – firstly on Boxing Day, when 466 watched the visit of Atherstone Town, and then 775 saw our game against Nuneaton Town less than a month later.
7 – the number of players from the club’s youth team who made first-team appearances this season, led by Jake Tullin who played 31 times. The future is bright!
Now, attention turns to whatever 2026/27 holds – see you in July!
