Hinckley AFC play their penultimate home game of the season as they welcome Daventry Town to Kirkby Road for the first of an Easter weekend double-header.
Two days before a local derby away to Atherstone Town, Hinckley return to home turf as they take on Daventry.
And both sides will hope to build on their recent upturn in form as they look to end the season on a high and carry momentum into the summer.
The opposition
Daventry come into this one on the back of a five-match unbeaten run, and could have had four wins in that time were it not for a late Easington Sports equaliser on Wednesday.
That game ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw in which Daventry were 2-0 up before the home side hit back after half time.
Michael Nketia scored twice and Josh Yeboah once against his former club, and he now has 17 goals for the season.
Prior to that, Daventry beat relegation-threatened pair Yaxley and Oadby but also picked up a good win at home to Moulton, and an away draw at play-off chasing Histon.
Only five sides have conceded fewer goals this season than Daventry, but equally only five sides have scored fewer.
From the dressing room
“Daventry are in a bit of a false position, in my opinion. They’ve got a good core group of players and it will be a challenging game. But I believe the momentum is on our side and we’ll go into it fully ready. We want to take confidence and momentum into the summer and give the fans something to look forward to when we restart.”
