Hinckley AFC’s appeal against Chandler Pegg’s late sending off at Coventry United has been successful following a case of mistaken identity.
Pegg was dismissed in confusing circumstances after being shown two yellow cards in the second half of Wednesday’s match, when one of them should have been shown to Oli Szymanski instead.
After submitting video evidence to the FA, our appeal against the red card has been upheld and, therefore, Chandler will not serve a suspension.
