After the high of Saturday’s late win over Newport Pagnell, Hinckley AFC head to Bugbrooke St Michaels for the first time on Tuesday evening looking to extend their winning run to three.
Hinckley recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season with Saturday’s stoppage-time success against Pagnell, as Bryan Kohyrelon completed the late turnaround.
Now they head to Northamptonshire hoping for a similar result that could see them move as high as seventh in the table.
But standing in their way are a Bugbrooke side hoping to extend their new manager bounce into a second game.
The opposition
Scott Carlin, who was manager at Cogenhoe United until their withdrawal from the pyramid this summer, started his tenure as Bugbrooke boss with a 1-0 win at Eynesbury Rovers on Saturday.
That was their first league clean sheet of the season and Carlin will now take charge of his first home game at Bugbrooke against Hinckley on Tuesday.
The Badgers have 11 points from their opening 10 games, putting them 14th in the table, and they will move up a place if they can win a second straight game.
