Hinckley AFC have completed the signing of versatile defender Will Mansfield.
Capable of playing at centre back, right back or at the base of midfield, Mansfield joins Hinckley on dual registration from Sutton Coldfield Town.
Like fellow new boy Sam Ellis, he spent last season with Heather St John’s and helped them to a sixth-place finish in the United Counties Premier North.
He featured 36 times for them in total, chipping in with seven goals from defensive positions, and followed manager Dave Stringer to Sutton Coldfield in the summer.
He has featured in plenty of their matchday squads at step four this season, with a handful of starts among more appearances as a substitute.
Will is available and in contention to make his debut in tomorrow’s League Cup third round tie away to Ingles.
