Hinckley AFC are delighted to announce a Sportsman’s Evening with former Celtic and Wales striker John Hartson.
The Welsh football icon, and now highly respected pundit, will be coming to the Starlight Suite, at the former Greene King Stadium, on Thursday 3rd May.
Most notably formerly of Celtic, the Welshman also played more than 50 times for Luton Town, Arsenal and West Ham United during a distinguished club career that saw him score more than 150 goals, while he also represented his country on more than 50 occasions.
In this Sportsman’s Evening, Hartson talks openly about his successful career, but it wasn’t without its problems which saw issues with gambling, and a battle with cancer following his retirement.
Also on the evening, there will be a choice of two suppers and an auction, with plenty of items of merchandise up for grabs.
Tickets for the evening cost just £25 each, while we are also offering group bookings with a table of ten for £200 – a saving of 20% – if booked by 31st March. Please arrive at 7pm on the evening for a 7-30pm start. The dress code is smart casual.
