Nuneaton Griff are the visitors to St John’s Park tomorrow evening for Hinckley AFC’s third of four straight home games, kick off 7-45pm.
On the back of a comfortable defeat to Walsall Wood and a similarly comfortable victory over Aylestone Park, Hinckley turn their attentions back to league action as they head back to SJP.
The Emirates FA Cup takes a back seat with AFC knowing they will travel to Mickleover Sports in the next round, with three league games to focus on before then.
That run starts with a local derby against Nuneaton Griff tomorrow, with the Heartlanders looking to get back on track after three straight defeats.
John Farmer’s side won 3-1 at Littleton on the opening day, but have since recorded back-to-back defeats by the same margin before another loss to Coventry Copsewood.
Hinckley, meanwhile, are also looking to bounce back from a defeat in their last league game and will want to replicate the form that saw them lead 3-0 at Stafford on the opening day, or that which saw them put four past Aylestone Park
in the first half on Saturday.
They will also look back at the last time the sides met with positivity. Back in April, AFC’s final home game of 2016-17 was against Griff as Sam Agar, Ryan Seal, Lee Thomas and Paul Sullivan all found the net in a 4-0 win.
