It is with great sadness that Hinckley AFC has learned of the passing of long-standing supporter and former turnstile operator Chris Jiggens.
Chris had been a member of Hinckley AFC since day one, and had volunteered on the turnstile, as well as with the Supporters’ Group.
Originally from Essex, Chris moved up to Hinckley in the early 2000s and adopted Hinckley United as his new team, alongside his original love of Tottenham Hotspur. He continued to follow the club into the AFC days, attending games at home and away until poor health had forced him to take a step back last year.
The club extend our heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.
