Lewis Rankin is set to break Hinckley AFC’s appearance record in the early part of the 2025/26 after agreeing to remain with the club into a sixth season.
The club’s longest-serving player, Rankin joined Hinckley in 2020 and his substitute appearance on the final day of last season was his 150th for the club.
Now just one behind Luke Richards’ tally of 151, he needs a further two games to break that record and his 56 Hinckley goals have him third on the club’s list, behind only Richards and Ryan Seal.
After playing 31 times in all competitions last season, Rankin has agreed to stay with Hinckley for the new season ahead of our first pre-season friendly next week.
