Hinckley AFC can announce the nominations for election to the Board of Directors, at the club’s 2024 AGM.
The elected Directors due to stand down by rotation, according to the club constitution, are Ron Ashby, David Jackson and Robert Weale. Both Ron Ashby and David Jackson have been nominated to stand for re-election to the board. As Rob Weale stepped down from the board in July 2024, his position will be vacant. No other candidates have been nominated for election.
As there are fewer candidates than vacancies available, as per the club’s election policy, a ballot will not be required and candidates will be elected by members present at the AGM.
Ron Ashby and David Jackson have both been long-term members of the Board, and many will have seen Ron on a matchday either volunteering in the turnstile, on duty stewarding the players tunnel, or regaling us on the tannoy. Ron also helps out with match day duties at our Under 18s matches. This season Ron also took on the responsibility of arranging the excellent kit partnership we have with Fused Sport and is our Club liaison with the company for current merchandise and future projects with them. Dave Jackson has, over the last few seasons, had the responsibility for Club Secretary, Treasurer and Kitman.
The club’s Annual General Meeting takes place on Wednesday 29th January 2025 at the Greyhound Inn, 9 New Buildings, Hinckley, LE10 1HN, with an 7.30pm start.

The club wish to reiterate only Club Members may attend the AGM, and stand for election. Club Members aged 16 or over can take part in Board Elections.
