An update from the Hinckley AFC Supporters’ Group on upcoming events…
The first foodbank collection of the season, with items donated to Hinckley Community Fridge to help those in need in our area, will take place this weekend at the game against Northampton ON Chenecks. Food in any tins and dry foods are particularly useful, alongside tea, coffee and sugar. Non-food items, such as laundry/detergents, sanitary towels and toiletries, are also welcome.
However, due to the Leicestershire Challenge Cup game against Quorn, the planned quiz night for this coming Monday, 30th September, will not take place.
The group also have a place at a monthly tabletop sale and are after any bric-a-brac, new toiletries, good quality used clothing and shoes, as well as any Hinckley memorabilia. Toys, games, video games – you get the idea, one man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure!
