Hinckley AFC made it back-to-back wins scoring six goals with victory over Chelmsley Town in their second pre-season friendly.
AFC followed up Saturday’s win over Lichfield with another strong performance at Pack Meadow as they continue their warm up for the United Counties Premier South season.
Hinckley flew out of the blocks and were two up inside seven minutes – an own goal from a cut back gave them the lead, and then Riley Davoile’s free kick nestled inside the corner.
Davoile grabbed his second after latching onto a lofted ball by Under 18s defender Oliver Szymanski, and Brady Middleton added a fourth before half-time.
As with most friendlies, both sides made substitutes in the second half that made the flow a bit more stop-start, but two of Hinckley’s replacements got themselves on the scoresheet.
Isa Abraham grabbed his second in two games, and then Luke Jones rounded things off with a 30-yard thunderbolt to extend Hinckley’s winning start to pre-season.
Saturday sees another visit to one of last season’s league rivals as Sutton United are the hosts, with kick-off at 4pm.
