The United Counties League have confirmed that the Premier Division South will run with 19 teams this season.
Cogenhoe United, who were set to compete in the Premier South again this season, resigned from the pyramid yesterday and clubs were subsequently informed that the Premier South will run one club short of its original 20-team line-up for 2024/25.
Newark Town, the losing play-off finalists in Division One last season, have been promoted but will take their place in the Premier Division North.
Congenhoe were confirmed in the division’s constitution at the league’s AGM, meaning they will be placed 20th this season and only one further club will be relegated.
All at Hinckley send our best wishes to everyone involved at Cogenhoe for whatever the future may hold.
