Central defender Ben Forrest has joined Hinckley AFC on dual registration from county rivals Quorn.
Forrest featured 25 times for Quorn last season in their promotion from step five, but picked up an injury towards the end of that campaign.
He made his comeback as a substitute last week at step four but links up with Hinckley to build up his playing time following his spell out.
Originally with Birmingham City, he signed a professional deal at St Andrew’s and featured regularly for their Under 21s side before leaving the pro game.
The 23-year-old joined Stafford Rangers on loan in 2020, and signed permanently the following season before suffering a bad injury and joining Quorn afterwards.
Ben is available to make his debut at Chelmsley Town this afternoon.
Welcome to Hinckley, Ben!
