After a return to form in midweek, Hinckley AFC return to league action with a trip to Sutton Coldfield to take on Paget Rangers.
After a fortnight away from league action, AFC head to the Royal Town looking to continue where they left off on Monday night.
The 6-0 win over Sutton in the League Cup was a welcome return to form for Hinckley after a tricky recent spell saw them go four without a win.
Six different goalscorers hit the back of the net against Sutton and AFC could move within a point of league leaders Droitwich Spa with a similar result at Coles Lane.
The opposition
Paget are on a run of six defeats in seven in all competitions, the latest being a narrow 2-1 loss at Nuneaton Griff in the League Cup on Wednesday, while they went down 5-1 at Droitwich on Saturday.
Prior to that, they beat Chelmsley in the Birmingham Midweek Floodlit Cup while their last league win came 3-2 at home to Smethwick Rangers last month in which Shevron Channer scored a hat-trick. Channer has four goals this season while Freddie Cockerell is their leading scorer with five.
It’s a run that leaves Paget 19th in the table with ten points from their 14 games so far, but they are just two points from safety in a very congested bottom half of the table. Just six points separate them from 13th-placed Bilston.
Previous meetings
This is the second meeting of the season, with Hinckley winning the reverse fixture 4-1 at Kirkby Road last month courtesy of four different goalscorers. Hinckley have won the last five meetings with The Bears, having previously won just one in four before that against the side in yellow and black.
