Barwell Carnival takes place this Saturday meaning some rolling road closures in place around the village ahead of our home match at Kirkby Road.
The carnival starts on Moat Way at 1pm before moving up the High Street towards Top Town, over the roundabout and down Kirkby Road. It then loops around and comes back up Kirkby Road and along the High Street.
There will be rolling road blocks of the affected roads as the floats pass by and carnival organisers expect all roads to re-open by 2.30pm.
However, to avoid as much inconvenience as possible, we suggest supporters come into Barwell by continuing along the A447 and then turning down Stapleton Road to get to Top Town. This will avoid as much of the road works and carnival route as possible.
