Hinckley AFC Under 18s midfielder Preston Bitemo has signed first-team forms ahead of the new season.
The young central player made his first appearance for the first-team in the game against Birstall United earlier this week.
He impressed a great deal, with joint-manager Joe Conneely saying he was one of the standout players on the pitch.
Still able to play for the Under 18s this season, he has also signed to play for Conneely and Courtney Hunter-Belford in Division One.
Conneely said: “We watched Preston for the Under 18s last year and he stood out as the best player.
“He’s only 17 but you wouldn’t have known it on Monday. It was his first game of men’s football and he was probably the best player on the pitch. It didn’t phase him.
“He’s got a bit of needle, is aggressive, tidy and comfortable on the ball and we’ll keep him around. There will be games for him and some not for him this season but he’s a good player and impressed a lot of people.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing him develop.”
