The first part of Hinckley AFC’s Easter weekend double-header brings a trip to Chelmsley Town on Saturday.
Hinckley’s two games in three days across the Easter break sees a pair of away trips, with a visit to Leicestershire rivals Ingles on Monday following on from Saturday’s game at Chelmsley.
And Joe Conneely’s side will be looking to build confidence and momentum following an excellent recent run which has seen them rise to second in the table.
Monday’s 5-0 win at Coton Green was the biggest away victory of the season so far, as five different scorers helped earn the points.
And they’ll be used to the quick turnaround, with seven games still to play in the next fortnight and regular Saturday-Monday doubles this season already.
The first of those opponents this weekend are Chelmsley, whose three-match winning streak came to an end at OJM Black Country on Tuesday.
A trio of wins against Wolves Sporting, Haughmond and Stapenhill lifted them to 12th in the table, with 45 points from their 36 games mathematically confirming they will be at step six again next season.
Mark Rose, with 13, is their leading scorer for manager Steve Solomon who is comfortable the division’s longest-serving boss.
Like Hinckley, Chelmsley’s shared home at Coleshill Town’s Pack Meadow has an artificial surface. The ground can be found on Packington Lane, Coleshill, B46 3JE.
