Hinckley AFC have completed the signing of former Sutton Coldfield Town and Lichfield City defender Sam Walton.
Having come through the academy at Tamworth, the 21-year-old centre back was on the fringes of the first team at The Lamb and played a couple of times in cup competitions before departing.
After leaving Tamworth, he featured for Barwell and Bedworth United at higher levels and was at Sutton Coldfield at step four earlier this season.
From there, he joined Lichfield and has made 15 appearances for them in all competitions so far this season.
Walton comes in after Ben Whitehead was recalled from his loan by Rugby Town, while Ben Birch has returned to Studley.
Harrison James, who signed from Lichfield last week, has decided to take a break from Saturday football.
We wish all three players the best of luck for the future.
Welcome to Hinckley, Sam!
