Hinckley AFC will be holding a charity food collection day at our home match against OJM Black Country on Saturday 10th December.
As a community club, we are always looking to help local people and will be taking donations next weekend.
The donations will go to Hope for the Homeless, a group who help those in need and vulnerable people in Hinckley and the surrounding areas.
The group are looking to help people have a better Christmas, and have requested a list of items you could donate
- Turkey or trimmings
- Stuffing
- Potatoes
- Vegetables
- Christmas puddings
- Tea
- Coffee
- Sugar
- Toiletries
- Selection boxes
Organiser through the Supporters’ Group, Zoe Measom, said: “We had a suggestion to collect for those in need so that we are the community club, helping the community.
“We would like to ask anyone attending the game if they could donate something to help those less fortunate at this time of year.”
To donate, simply bring any of those items to the club shop behind the goal at the match next weekend.
