Danny Fraser’s first Hinckley goal set us on the way in victory over Droitwich Spa – but it was a significant club landmark as the 1,000th scored in our history since our formation in 2014.
Heading into the match on 999, Fraser’s early strike brought up the four figures before Chandler Pegg, Lewis Rankin and Isa Abraham took the tally to 1,003.
The landmark took just 363 matches to reach, at an average of 2.76 goals per game scored across just over eight years – a period of 3,038 days.
More than half of the 1,000 goals came under the management of Carl Abbott, with more than 250 scored under Courtney Belford. Ryan Seal remains the club’s leading scorer on 93.
