Hinckley AFC will face a repeat of last season’s play-off final in the Isuzu FA Vase second round after being drawn against Belper United.
Hinckley’s reward for beating Cogenhoe United at the weekend is a trip to Derbyshire to face last season’s league rivals at Christchurch Meadow.
After their promotion last season, Belper sit 15th in the United Counties Premier North having won four and drawn one of their 11 matches so far.
Their FA Vase progression has come courtesy of wins against Gedling Miners Welfare on penalties, and Cheltenham Saracens.
Last season’s top marksman and play-off final goalscorer Richard Hanslow is still with Belper, and has hit eight goals so far, while Martin Smyth, who also scored against Hinckley in September of last season, has chipped in with seven.
The tie will take place on Saturday 12th November.
