Hinckley AFC could extend their winning run to 14 games but fellow high flyers Belper United stand in their way on Tuesday evening.
AFC kept their place at the summit of Division One with a come-from-behind win over Bourne Town on Saturday, as Ryan Slinn, Tyson Knight and Ryan Harkin all netted as AFC recovered from 2-0 down.
It means Hinckley have won every game since drawing with Graham Street Prims at the end of November and sees AFC and Kimberley Miners Welfare level on points going into the final eight games of the season.
Next up for Courtney Belford’s side are third placed Belper who sit ten points back from both Hinckley and Kimberley, but with a game in hand.
They beat Barrow Town on Saturday and have won nine of their last ten on home soil, only losing out to Dunkirk there since November.
The 27-goal Richard Hanslow, who had a goalless three-game spell with Hinckley under James Jepson in 2018, leads the way in front of goal.
But, like Hinckley, a number of players have chipped in well. Jack Tyson, Martin Smyth and Kieran O’Connell are also in double figures.
The reverse fixture was a frantic encounter that Hinckley led 3-1 before the visitors hit back late to take all three points. Smyth scored twice on that occasion while Tyson netted a penalty.
Belper United play at Belper Town’s Raygar Stadium, Christchurch Meadow, Bridge Street, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 1BA.
