Following the signing of Liam Cairns earlier this week, Hinckley AFC can confirm that his cousin Joe Cairns has also joined the club.
An attack minded midfielder who can play wide or centrally, Joe was in the academy at Walsall as a youngster.
But he didn’t make a first team appearance there and had a spell with Swedish side Gottne upon leaving the Bescot Stadium.
He then joined Coventry United when he returned to the UK, spending the last three-and-a-half seasons at the Butts Park Arena and playing more than 100 times.
The 22-year-old has been a crucial part of their side at step five this season, scoring 11 times in 31 games in the United Counties Premier South.
