Hinckley AFC go in search of an 11th win in 12 games when they make a first ever trip to Graham Street Prims on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
A surging recent run has seen Hinckley rise up the table, a defeat to Radford the only blot on a recent copybook that means they’re now only three points behind leaders Aylestone Park.
It was a 2-1 win over Aylestone Park on Tuesday that got Hinckley within touching distance of the leaders. Isa Abraham and Jack Edwards found the net in the first half.
Now, they take on a Prims side under new management after the resignation of Anton Broughton last week. Jacob Straw has taken over.
And he oversaw a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of the team directly below Hinckley, Belper United, on Tuesday. Despite sitting third from bottom, they have run many of the top eight close this season – both Belper and Hucknall beat them by the odd goal, while they also drew with Birstall United.
Lee Fell leads the way in front of goal for them, with eight so far.
