The 2020-21 Midland League Division One season has been curtailed with immediate effect.
A Football Association statement released this evening confirmed we will play no further matches this season.
In the statement, the FA indicated that 76% of clubs across Steps 3-6 wished to curtail the season if it could not be restarted with limited spectator numbers and hospitality by April. They also wished to not extend the season beyond May.
The decision will now be sent to the FA Council for ratification.
In addition, the FA were hoping to restructure the non-league pyramid before the covid impact led to two incomplete seasons. They will now revisit discussions around this potential restructure.
We will continue to update supporters on what this means for the club, and look forward to seeing everyone again when football resumes in the summer.
