Hinckley AFC face a Non-League Day Leicestershire derby tomorrow when they meet Kirby Muxloe for the first time at the Welfare Ground, kick off 3pm.
Having lost their last two in all competitions, both also against county opposition, Hinckley are now seeking a return to the form that saw them beat Brocton and Lichfield City towards the end of September and lifted them to second in the Division One table.
Now fifth, tomorrow they welcome a Kirby Muxloe side who have won four and lost four of their nine league games thus far, a start that leaves them in 12th.
Kirby are six points behind Hinckley, albeit with two games in hand, and have won three of their last four in all competitions having lost three in a row prior to that.
The 11-goal George Bosworth is their leading scorer so far, but has been ably supported by five from Adam Parry and four by Andre Williams.
The sides have never met before, Kirby’s lengthy stay at step five ended with relegation last season, and they are the third Leicestershire side AFC have faced in a week.
Having not featured on Tuesday, Isaac Cooper is still waiting for his 100th appearance for the club, and will reach the landmark should he play tomorrow.
