A good first half display from Hinckley AFC’s under 18s wasn’t good enough as Bedworth United dominated the second half to earn a 4-1 win.
AFC were a goal to the good at the break, but the visitors hit back in the second half to condemn Hinckley to defeat.
The first chance of the game came for Bedworth as they put a corner across the goal but shot over the bar.
But Hinckley went on to score as Lewis Radford put a superb free-kick into the top corner from long range.
Hinckley had their second chance of the game on 31 minutes but it was blazed over the bar, and took that lead into the second half with another chance on 62 minutes however yet again, it was put over the bar.
But Bedworth out-played Hinckley after half-time and deserved to get level when they scored on 64 minutes, slotting the ball to the bottom left of the keeper.
Bedworth went on to score again three minutes later as they hit the post but finished off the rebound.
They then hit the post on 75 mins and were unlucky not to have a third to put the game to bed.
But they did add a deserved third soon after as they looked to have put the game to bed as Hinckley really struggled in the second half.
And as the match ticked into stoppage time, it was game over as Bedworth added a fourth to wrap up a comprehensive second half.
