Alan Mason’s funeral will be held this coming Monday, 16th September, at Ashby Road Cemetery.
The service will celebrate the life of a fountain of knowledge on the town’s footballing history.
The order of service will be printed in the form of a matchday programme with tributes from those who knew him – a fitting tribute to Alan.
It will be held at Ashby Road Cemetery, 38 Ashby Road, Hinckley, LE10 1SL at midday, with the wake being held at The Red Cow Inn, Hinckley Road, Kirby Muxloe, LE3 3PG from 1pm.
Friends are encouraged to wear Hinckley scarves and shirts from across the years to celebrate his contribution to football in the town.
The family have requested that any donations be forwarded to Paul Pender & Sons for two extremely worthwhile charities – LOROS and The Simon Blyth Memorial Fund.
