Hinckley AFC go in search of a fifth straight home win when Stapenhill visit the Welfare Ground in the second part of our Bank Holiday double header.
AFC kept their third clean sheet in a week with Saturday’s 3-0 win over Ashby Ivanhoe in the first part of the double header, Bekir Halil, Jake Brown and Ky Green all on the scoresheet.
And, having kept up their 100% home record this season, Courtney Belford’s side will look to replicate that result when welcoming Stapenhill tomorrow for a 3pm kick off.
The Swans have had a solid start to the season, beating Cadbury Athletic, Nuneaton Griff and Chelmsley Town while losing out to NKF Burbage and Kirby Muxloe.
Ryan King and Callum Riddell have netted seven times between them already, but yesterday’s win over Chelmsley saw four different scorers.
And Hinckley’s solid defensive record will be put to the test with Stapenhill second in the goalscorers’ charts – only behind Hinckley.
But after back-to-back 4-0 wins, confidence will also be high in the visitors’ camp and as a result they sit seventh in the early season table.
AFC won the last meeting between the sides, edging January’s game at the Welfare Ground 2-0 after an opening day 2-2 draw on a hot summers day at Maple Grove.
