Three of Hinckley AFC’s successful Under 18s team from 2018-19 have signed first team forms for the coming season.
Central defender Ellis Chambers started each of the last six games last season, and looked ever-more assured at the heart of defence with every game. He picked up the Man of the Match award in the final game of the season against Brocton.
Forward Luke Newton featured more sparsely, coming off the bench twice in league games, but the lively attacking player had a good season for the youth team and has also signed forms for the coming season.
Meanwhile, young midfielder Reece Giles has also signed forms despite still being young enough to feature for John Ramshaw’s Under 18s team again for the coming season. He started two games and made a further two appearances from the bench.
The trio have all impressed new manager Courtney Belford enough to be offered the chance to feature in the first team squad this season.
Congratulations to all three players!
