Hinckley AFC’s Midland League First Division opponents for the 2019-20 season have been confirmed today, with two new county derbies next season.
After featuring just 19 teams this season, Division One returns to a 20-team league next term with no team relegated from last season – Nuneaton Griff and Heath Hayes have both been reprieved.
Leaving Division One are Heather St John’s and Racing Club Warwick, both promoted last season. They have joined the Midland League Premier while Littleton have moved across to the West Midlands Regional League.
That means there are four new clubs – with two new county derbies to look forward to in the form of Ashby Ivanhoe, who have moved across from the East Midlands Counties League, and Kirby Muxloe, relegated from the United Counties League Premier.
In addition, Stafford Town are back after a season in the Staffordshire County League while GNP Sports have been promoted from Division Two.
